Pressure Distribution Map from Computerized Sensor Study: Medical research indicates that the average inner pressure of human capillary vessels is 32 mmHg (graph A). When the pressure exceeding 32 mmHg is applied, the blood flow slows or even stops. As time passes, due to the poor circulation, the cells inside the tissue will cause necrosis of the muscle with resulting pressure sores and ulceration. The map of pressure distribution from DynaFlo 8000 (graph B) demonstrates the pressure distribution of an actual patient. Note: pressures are well below 32 mmHg

Static Mode Selection

When the blue button is pressed the mattress stops alternating and becomes a normal mattress. Depressing the button again resumes the alternating modality.
LED Indicators and Sonic Alarm
The green light indicates that the pressure is in the selected range. The amber light indicates that the inner pressure is below 5 mmHg. Pressing the red button on the side panel resets the alarm.
CPC Quick-Connectors
The Dyna series mattress includes mechanically locking connectors on the air tubes. This precludes accidental air loss. In other words, THEY ARE NOT QUICK DISCONNECT   fittings!
Spring-Loaded Air Tubes
Therapy using Dyna series mattresses assures that the air tubes cannot be accidentally kinked or blocked e.g. in the bed frame. This is because the air delivery tubes contain springs which defy occlusion.
Vinyl Covering of Air Tubing
The white, air delivery tubes from the pump to the mattress are protected from unsightly dust and dirt thereby precluding contamination. The vinyl covering is easily cleaned.
Slip Resistant Underlying Mat
The bottom of the mattress provides stability and safety because it features a slip-resistant mat to preclude any sliding movement.
Quick-Release, CPR Valves
Two CPR valves with pull-tabs are designed for quick-release of air from the tubes for CPR administration
Cell-Within-a-Cell"
During therapy, and when transporting, the patient will always have an air cushion in place because of the patented, coaxial tube design and construction. Even when there is a loss of power, the inner cell will stay inflated for several hours assuring peace of mind for the patient as well as the caretaker.
Quilted Zip-Around Cover
The DynalFlo 8000 includes this zip-around cover. The quilting provides extra comfort for the patient. This also assures added sanitation.
Waterproof Yet Breathable Cover
The top cover is waterproof and breathe-able as well. It keeps moisture out while allowing continuous, low-air-loss therapy from below.
Low-Air-Loss Therapy
There are 9 air tubes (A and B in photo below) which contain micro-laser-produced holes to assure continuous therapy. This a provides a dry and comfortable resting surface.
Pillow Function
Air tubes in the "C" section of the photo provide a static pillow area. Thus the patient will not feel the discomfort of a constantly moving head area.
Carrying Bag (optional)
The oversize carrying bag provides easy storage and transportation of the entire system, including the pump!
